- The van and trailer permit is described as starting 'from 14 October' without a year. Wader assumes it is current but can't confirm the year from the page.

- Asbestos is listed at £13.10 but is currently suspended; the page doesn't say when it will resume.
Booking and limits
Torbay's recycling centre, run by SWISCo, works on bookings only. The last slot is 3.50pm, and you need to arrive before 3.55pm.
There are visit limits:
- 4 visits per 28 days for mixed waste and recycling
- 6 visits per 28 days if you're bringing garden waste only
Vans and trailers
From 14 October, you need a van or trailer permit before you can book a visit in an eligible vehicle. (The page doesn't state the year.) The page Wader read doesn't mention hire vans at all, so check with SWISCo (01803 701310) if you're hiring one.
DIY waste
Each visit includes a free DIY allowance of two 50-litre bags or one bulky item up to 2 m × 0.75 m × 0.7 m. Above that:
