Not clear from the source

  • The overnight price isn't given on the council's motorhome page; it refers you to the tariff boards and the Conditions of Use.
  • The page doesn't say whether vehicles must be self-contained.

Five car parks, each with a length limit

Fylde's overnight motorhome bays are spread along the St Annes seafront and town. Each has a maximum vehicle length, so check yours before you choose (MiPermit location codes in brackets):

Car park Max length MiPermit code
St Pauls Avenue 5 m 720706
Fairhaven Road 7 m 720709
St Annes Swimming Pool 8 m 720710
North Promenade 6 m 720705
North Beach 10 m 720711

If you're driving something long, North Beach (10 m) is the only one that takes the biggest vans.

The rules

  • First come, first served – no booking.
  • Use the designated motorhome bays only. Overnight parking between 7pm and 9am in standard bays isn't allowed.
  • Maximum stay 48 hours.
  • Tickets can't be transferred to another vehicle or car park.
  • No tents in the tent boxes.

Emptying the cassette

There's a sluice about 500 metres north of St Annes Swimming Pool car park, inside the North Promenade public toilets. It costs £1 and you get 20 minutes' free parking to use it. The council notes there's currently no water supply there, so fill up elsewhere.

Daytime parking

During the day, motorhomes can use any long-stay car park except the short-stay areas at St Annes Square, Wood Street and Pleasant Street.

Paying

Use the MiPermit app, wanttopark.com/fylde, or text PARK to 61600. The nightly price isn't printed on the main page, so check the tariff board when you arrive.
